Patterns & Pieces :: installation :: 2009
Patterns & Pieces is an installation that I did to help raise awareness for and teach the public about Autism. Throughout the month long exhibit, the audience was invited to help build the oversized poster puzzles only to find that by the end a few key pieces did not fit.
From cutting each piece by hand to silkscreening every line of type—this project was the result of months of research, conceptual design, intense labor, and information that spoke on multiple levels. Patterns & Pieces took on a life of its own and is a project that I am very proud of.
